VI. HER THOUGHTS

The "Confession":

Things took a drastic turn. The last conversation was like an excuse for them to get even more closer.

"Sukoonnnn, listen", she'd always call him that way.

"Yes love",  he smiled.

"Does distance matter to you", she nervously asked.

"It doesn't, but the day it does I know we will behave like mature adults and move on", he replied all confident.

They would take one day at a time. Not talk about the distance, yet be happy. Everything seemed to be falling in place. It was simply perfect. A few days passed on, things were going on okay.
Then one day...

"Where have you been all this while man, I could have been happier if I'd known you when I was there. Hear your constant chatter. Hate and Love it that you have the effect on me of making me uncomfortable. In one moment, I want to care and love and without a moment's notice, I want to crave you, have you. You are my present Aafat!", he confidently exclaimed.

"What do you mean by present. I didn't know we're seeing each other already?", she was shy.

"I think we are headed that way, if not already. Don't you think so?", he asked.

"Which way love ?", she counter questioned.

"I know you are awkward at such talks. So I won't say anything. But I'll let you navigate this conversation", Sukoon giggled.

"Oh come on! Tell me already. You're freaking me out", Aafat anxiously said.

"Don't you think this is becoming a relationship?", he raised a question.

"Yeah you want this to be!!!", she was all horrified.

"Well. If I didn't want it. I wouldn't be taking out my time to come to you at the end of the night", damn he sounded adorable.

"What are you saying!!!", she being still anxious.

"I am saying that we are in a relationship", he sounded all sure.
He continued, "I hope that's what you want too and it's safe to assume that we both feel the same way for each other.".

"Relationship it is", her tone went from anxious to being all over-whelmed at the same time.

"You are MINE now. I feel so peaceful. Goodnight my love. Going to sleep with a huge smile tonight. Thank you baby", he ended their day with a sense of contentment.

    it reminds me of this lyrics which goes like this
    "tum mere ho, tum mere ho.. aaj bas itna wada karke jana, chura liya hai tumne jo Dil ko.. nazar Kabhi churana sanam, badal ke meri tum zindagani kahi badal na jana sanam" 😉
